This diverse background allows him to effectively bridge the gap between theoretical research and practical application in the healthcare field.

Thom is a medical doctor, currently pursuing a PhD at the Amsterdam UMC. The PhD focusses on digital twins technology for the treatment of stroke. He also works as a medical expert and product engineer for a digital healthcare company.

Fenna holds a master’s degree in Technical Medicine and is currently pursuing a PhD in Surgery. Her research focuses on optimizing preoperative decision making in liver surgery by integrating functional imaging, clinical data and artificial intelligence to better assess surgical risk.

In addition, she is the founder of a baby care e-commerce brand, where she combines clinical knowledge with digital innovation. Her work bridges the gap between healthcare, AI, and entrepreneurship.
